Xochimilco

To the south of the city it remains as a vestige of what was TenochtitlƔn, with its canals and chinampas, its green terrain, full of vegetation and fresh air. This area was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1987 in its neighborhoods you breathe tradition and respect for nature.

Luis Barragan House Study

In the old neighborhood of Tacubaya is one of the architectural jewels of CDMX: the Casa Luis BarragƔn. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2004, it was built by the architect from Guadalajara in 1948. From the mastery of playing with the proportion of spaces and creating different environments based on light and color, to the design of the garden and patios, like the water mirror in the patio of pots.

Historical Center

The oldest area of ā€‹ā€‹Mexico City is also the richest, in terms of its cultural, architectural and gastronomic offer. In recent years, several cultural corridors and streets converted into pedestrian crossings have been created, so walking through its streets is an enriching experience, thanks to the large number of colonial buildings and from the Porfirian era that it concentrates. Since 1987 it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ciudad Universitaria

During the 1940s, the modernity and development of the country were uncontrollable, in addition to an industrialization that demanded to materialize an architectural center that would concentrate the main activities of the most important academic and cultural project in the country: the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). In 1952, Ciudad Universitaria was inaugurated by the then president Miguel AlemƔn and it was until 2007 that it was declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
