At Maia Luxury Apartments and services Mexico, SA de CV (“MaiaHome”), with address at Jorge Bernard Shaw 34-101, Col. Polanco, Miguel Hidalgo, C.P. 11530, we are responsible for the processing and protection of your personal data in accordance with Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), its Regulations and other applicable rules.

 

1. Personal data we collect

We collect only the data you provide when registering on our WiFi network: name, phone number and email address. For technical and security reasons, the system may also log your device’s MAC address and the date and time of connection. We do not collect sensitive personal data.

 

2. Primary purposes (necessary)

These purposes are necessary to provide the service and do not require your additional consent:

• Provide and manage access to the property’s WiFi network.

• Verify your access via a code sent to your email.

• Ensure the security and proper functioning of the network.

• Handle support requests during your stay.

• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

 

3. Secondary purposes (require your consent)

Only if you give your consent by checking the corresponding box on the form, we will process your data to:

• Send you the neighborhood guide, local tips and welcome content.

• Send you promotions, direct-booking offers and loyalty communications.

• Conduct satisfaction surveys and request reviews.

Declining the secondary purposes does not affect your internet access or the quality of the service. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see the ARCO Rights section).

 

4. Transfers and data processors

To operate these services we may rely on providers acting as data processors (for example, our CRM and email platform), which process data solely on MaiaHome’s behalf and in accordance with this notice. We do not transfer your data to third parties for their own purposes without your consent, except as permitted by law.

 

5. Cookies and session technologies

Our portal uses strictly necessary session cookies to manage your connection process. They are not used for advertising or third-party tracking.

 

6. Ways to limit the use or disclosure of your data

You may limit the use or disclosure of your data by declining the secondary purposes (leaving the consent box unchecked) or by writing to privacidad@maiahome.mx.

 

7. ARCO Rights and revocation of consent

You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel or Object (ARCO rights) to the processing of your data, as well as to revoke your consent or limit its use and disclosure. To exercise them, send your request to privacidad@maiahome.mx stating your name, the right you wish to exercise and a means of contact. We will respond within the timeframes set by the LFPDPPP.

Any changes to this notice will be published on this same page. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
